Border guards find lady under the hood

When car companies say “room for four,” they may not take the entire space of the vehicle into account.

Last week, border officials in Sarnia, found a woman hiding in the engine of a Ford Focus being driven by a man trying to cross into Canada from Port Huron.

What makes it even more bizarre was the fact the woman was Chinese.

The driver was charged with smuggling and the woman went to a hospital for treatment from burns caused by the engine. The woman also suffered from frostbite to her outer extremities and her clothes and face were covered in road salt. Border officials say this incident marked the second time that week someone tried to smuggle Chinese migrants under the engine hood of a car.
