Exec Corner: Got talent?
Can you sing? Dance? Do a magic show? Can you do anything cool?
Well I along with the Athletics Department need you! We need people to fill in the gaps between half times or breaks on our home games.
So if you think you have any cool tricks to show the world, the Fanshawe Falcon home games is a good place to start.
I hope people take this seriously as well. I don't want people coming up to me saying “I have a cool trick; I can rub my belly and tap on my head all at the same time!”
That's not a trick, that's boring because even my little brother can do that!
I'm talking about the singers that are hidden deep down our students.
The magicians that are waiting to show us what they have.
We need any comedian who's patiently waiting to come out and demonstrate their jokes to everyone.
We want to start making our home games exciting, fun and a place where everyone wants to go to, not just to watch the dancers, but because they like winning prizes and like to see what kind of games are going to be played.
It's not going to be easy looking for talents in Fanshawe because not only are people shy, but my main mentor (PRESIDENT THOMSON) will be away on a conference for almost a whole week.
Though I think it will be fun pretending to be the president for a week. I think I might just do that. I can be like “Hey you, do you have any talent? I'm the President and I need you!” or “I saw you shaking it and I like it, now come and show the rest of the school your talent!”
You can tell I've been procrastinating when it came to writing this column and I promise my next one will be well prepared for! But anyways, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE SHOW FANSHAWE YOUR TALENT!
