Fanshawe’s fashion design students will be showing off their hard work next month. The 2025 Unbound Fashion Show will take place on April 12 at the college in Gym 3.

Mark Carney was sworn in as Canada’s 24th prime minister on March 14, succeeding Justin Trudeau. A former governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England, Carney steps into office at a crucial moment, as the country faces growing economic challenges and tensions with the United States.

The United States has made an enemy out of Canada after President Donald Trump imposed these tariffs and word vomited about us becoming the 51st state. Since tariffs were first imposed, Canadians have been focusing on buying local and supporting local businesses, instead of giving their money to the US.

The experiences we have in our formative years influence and mold our personalities as we get older. This can be anything from the type of books we read to our hobbies or even the music our parents introduced us to in the car on long road trips.
