The Oasis is one of several places on campus to grab a bite to eat.

Hungry? Fanshawe's got you covered. With an array of cuisine choices to choose from, satisfying that rumbling tummy of yours has never been so convenient.

For those of you who are new to the college, Fanshawe has a cashfree way of purchasing your next meal, all through the simplicity of your campus card. Not only does your campus card give full-time students access to classrooms, labs and buildings, part of your London transit bus pass, and library privileges, it can also be used to purchase food on campus.

After picking up your campus card, students can purchase their meal plan by visiting the Bookstore (F1002). Non-residence plans may be purchased starting as low as $50, with the ability to topup at any given time. And with a meal plan, it's a win-win: no need to cook or wash dishes!

With more than 10 locations to eat on campus, your palate will never get bored. Chartwells cafeterias, a name you probably recognize from your high school years, features well-known names such as Tim Hortons, Subway, Pizza Pizza, Coyote Jack's, Big Pita, Fresh Grille and Wild Greens, just to name a few.

Another trendy spot on campus includes Olive Oyle's (A1001), a deli that prepares delicious sandwiches, soup, a variety of salads, Starbucks coffee and pastries.

On the other hand, The Out Back Shack bar and grill offers an expanded roadhouse-style menu. The OBS is known for its good eats, new music nights and themed pubs nights on Thursdays.

Switching it up a bit, Oasis (in SC Building) allows staff and students to select from a stir-fry and pasta station, breakfast nook, veggie bar with fruit and soup, fresh sandwiches and subs, coffee, cappuccinos and flaky pastries.

If you're in the mood for more fast-food options, Falcon's Nest (beside Forwell Hall) offers pizza, subs and a variety of quick foods to fit your busy schedule, while Saffron's Restaurant (in A Building) offers fine dining for that special night out. (Note: Meal plan cards cannot be used at Saffron's Restaurant.)

So what will it be: a quick bite or satisfying sit-down lunch? Whatever you decide, rest assured that Fanshawe wide-variety of choices will be there to squash your hunger. Bon appétit!
