F.A.T.S. Knows!

We're glad you're back! As you work toward the end of term, you'll need to know these dates and information:

Course Withdrawal Deadline has been extended! Because of the strike, the Course Withdrawal Deadline (deadline to withdrawal without academic penalty and receive a W grade) for most Winter 2006 courses has been extended to April 13, 2006. Exceptions include courses with an original Course Withdrawal Deadline before March 7 (start of the strike) or after April 13.

Grades will be on WebAdvisor May 5 after 5 pm. If you're in the graduating level of your program, your academic standing will be available on May 12. For full-time students, academic standing is your academic achievement in a program, at a given point in time. Permission to proceed in your program or to graduate is communicated through academic standings.

Graduation - If you're in your graduating level, we'll send you an email this week with information about graduation. Or, visit www.fanshawec.ca/graduation.

Strike related withdrawal and refund information is on Fanshawe's website at www.fanshawec.ca/strikeupdate/tuition.asp.

Students here for Summer 2006 term: Your invoice and registration information will be mailed to you this week. The fee payment deadline is April 25. The minimum payment for Summer 2006 term includes the balance of your Winter 2006 term fees.

Students not here for Summer 2006 term: The balance of your Winter 2006 fees must be paid by the end of the term, that is, April 28. If we don't receive full payment by then, your account will be sent to collection. To stay in good standing with the College and protect your credit rating, please pay your outstanding fees by the end of term. Make payments through WebAdvisor (by credit card), in person (by debit card, credit card, cash, cheque, or money order), by fax (by credit card), or by mail (cheque or money order). If you can't get into your WebAdvisor or Fanshawe OnLine account, call the Connect Resource Centre at 519.452.4478 or email fol@fanshawec.ca.

On-line and Telephone Banking: New for June 2006! By June 2006, you can pay tuition fees with online banking or telephone banking through most financial institutions. We'll send you more information in June, in your registration package for Fall 2006 term.

Keeping in touch: Please make sure we have your current mailing address, phone number, and email address. You can update them on WebAdvisor. Over the next months we'll be in touch both electronically and by paper mail.

From all the staff in the Office of the Registrar: we wish you the best of luck with the end of the term, and a great summer!
