Break, Enter and Theft
Elgin County OPP is investigating a Break, Enter and Theft at Palmer's Supermarket, 35847 Talbot Line in Shedden. At 6:15 am on February 26, 2006, several males arrived at the Supermarket, and used a stolen red Jeep Cherokee to pull the front door off the building. Once entry was gained, they stole several thousand dollars in cigarettes from the business and loaded them into the red Cherokee and a black Cherokee and drove north from the business scene on Union Road. All suspects were described as male, with their faces covered with bandanas or their coats.
