The Heel Turn: ICP back on silver screen

Fans of wrestling will definitely want to check out Big Money Rustlas, the newest cinematic effort from the Insane Clown Posse. The plot centres on Big Baby Chips (Violent J), a notorious outlaw who has ruled the old west town of Mudbug for years, extorting money from the townsfolk with the help of his deadly bodyguard, Hack Benjamin, and two moronic henchmen.

A stranger by the name of Sugar Wolf (Shaggy 2 Dope) rides into town and proclaims himself sheriff. It turns out that he lived in Mudbug years ago and is on a mission to clean up the lawless town and exact some revenge on Big Baby, who murdered his father, Sheriff Grizzly Wolf (Played by legendary adult-film star Ron Jeremy).

He hires night-watchman Bucky to guard the jail. Bucky is played by Jason Mewes, of Jay and Silent Bob fame. Sheriff Sugar Wolf also has to deal with the fact that his mother seems to be the town's best prostitute, a joke that gets repeated throughout the movie. While bringing order to Mudbug, he has three vicious assassins thrown at him by Big Baby: The Ghost, The Foot and Tank, who all meet a comically violent end at the hands of Sugar Wolf.

The final gunfight between Sheriff Sugar Wolf and Big Baby Chips results in the villain being mortally wounded. Anybody who's seen the previous ICP movie, Big Money Hustlas, will see the twist ending coming a mile away, as to who Big Baby really is.

This movie is chock full of wrestling stars, such as Corporal Robinson, Terry Brunk, Jimmy Hart (playing a card cheat) and Scott Hall (as a guy who just sits there at the town limits and drinks). Fans of Ontario's own Maximum Pro Wrestling will like the appearances of Scott D'Amore as an unlucky bank robber and Joe Doering as a customer of Mama Wolf's whorehouse.

It's no surprise that so many professional wrestlers appear in ICP movies, as the duo have had a career in the business themselves, having set foot in the ring in ECW, WCW and the WWF, as well as several independent promotions.

This movie is by no means the greatest film ever, and will appeal most to the Juggalo fanbase, but it is good for a few laughs. And where else will you see veterans of the squared circle sharing screen time with Hollywood actors (Tom Sizemore), has-beens (Dustin Diamond), and porn stars like the above-mentioned Jeremy and Bridget Powerz.
