If you are (or will be!) looking for a part-time, full-time or summer job you are invited to visit the Fanshawe College Career Resource Centre. Career Services offers Fanshawe students the following services:
- Resume, interview and job search information and support
- Full-time, part-time and summer job posting service
- Free job search and employment materials, newspaper classified ads
- Computers for Internet job search and correspondence
- No cost resume faxing and phone service for calls to employers
- Information on career related programs and events
- Annual Career Fair (February) and year round recruitment activities
As a Fanshawe student or graduate, you have several options available to access job postings. Throughout the year, the Career Services department posts hundreds of part-time, summer, and full-time job vacancies on behalf of employers. Our Internet site www.fanshawec.ca/careersservices makes job searching easy. Once on the site select Job Seekers - View Jobs from the menu bar. You will need your Fanshawe student identification number to log on to view job postings. In addition to jobs available outside of the college, you can also view postings for student employment opportunities on campus.
Internet access is available in the student computer labs or through the Career Services office (Room F2010). In addition to our Internet site, you will find the same job notices posted on job throughout the campus. Copies of the job postings are distributed to applicable faculty contacts at all campuses. Students registered at the Woodstock, St.Thomas and Simcoe campuses are encouraged to check our web site postings.

Be sure to check our EVENTS section for notices of upcoming employment related events and career fairs offered on or off campus. workopolisCampus is another valuable Internet site containing numerous summer and full-time opportunities of interest to students and graduates. You can access this site at http://www.workopoliscampus.com . If you have not previously used this web site you need to register as a “new user” using the Fanshawe College password: ewahs22. If you would like more information or assistance registering, contact the Career Services office.
Need individual help looking for a part-time, summer or graduate job? Visit our office located in F2010. We are open weekdays from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. You may also arrange an interview with the consultant responsible for your program by calling 452-4294.
Summer job postings can start coming in as early as November so don't forget to check us out for help in preparing for your Summer 2006 job search. If you are graduating soon we are here to assist you in your full-time career search.
