The Welcome Kiosk is your one-stop-shop for college info

The first week of school brings so many questions — but where do you find the answers? Go see Dylan and Lori at the Welcome Kiosk, just down the hall from the bookstore in ‘F' Hallway. They can answer questions about the college and the city, such as, “How do I get to the second floor of ‘F' Building?” “Where can I print things for class?” and, “Where are the closest grocery stores and malls?”

Here's some information to help you with daily college life;

ATMs are in D-E-F Junction, the Fitness Centre, ‘H' Cafeteria, the Student Centre (across from the pharmacy) Forwell Hall (SUB), and outside the Out Back Shack. There is no bank on campus.

Bus maps can be picked up at the Welcome Kiosk (F1008) and at Counselling and Student Life (F2010). Information about bus schedules can also be found at the Biz Booth just down the hall from the Out Back Shack.

Carpool and ride boards are outside the parking office (D1018).

Housing, rental and roommate posts are located outside the Counselling and Student Life office.

Computer/password problems can be taken care of at the Connect Centre (E2030).

The clinic on campus is the Fowler Kennedy Sports Clinic, and is located in the Student Centre (SC1001).

If you have an emergency, pick up any payphone on campus and dial 452-4242.

Foot Patrol and Campus SafeWalk will escort you on campus if you feel unsafe walking through parking lots after dark. They can be reached at 452-4400 or through SafeWalk phones in hallways.

Internet access and printing can be done in the computer labs (F1000 and more) and the library.

There is a mailbox outside the main entrance to ‘F' Building.

Photocopiers are located in the library, the hallway between ‘H' and ‘M' Buildings, the Print Shop (B1002), the hallways by A1037 and in Falcon and Peregrine lobbies (the residences).

Stamps can be purchased in the bookstore or in any of the variety stores on campus.

The used bookhop in open September 6-16 and is located on the second floor of the Student Centre (SC2021, SC2014). Hours of operation are 9am-4pm, Monday to Friday. Come early, selection is limited!

The Welcome Kiosk is located at the front of the College between the bookstore and the library, and is open 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
