Action takes a back seat

Fast & Furious

Diesel and Walker team up again to furiously drive their fast cars while seeking revenge.

Dom (Vin Diesel), who has recently left his long-time love Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) for her own safety, receives a call from his sister, Mia (Jordana Brewster) informing him of Letty's unfortunate murder back home.

Knowing that he must find out what happened to her and get some pay back, Dom heads back to home, even though he is wanted by the police. Following a lead, he enters a race to drive for the powerful and mysterious Braga, who he believes might have had something to do with Letty's murder.

Brian (Paul Walker), now an FBI agent is also after Braga, to try and bring him down for drug trafficking. Knowing that Dom is back in town, he is not surprised to see him following his own leads to revenge Letty. Both Brian and Dom end up having to race again to try to get onto Braga's team to get some answers.

Can they both put the past behind them long enough to finish the race and catch the bad guy?

While not the best movie in the series, Diesel and Walker do make a good team. The movie had potential to be as good as the first, unfortunately the story line wasn't very strong and there wasn't a lot of street racing, which is what the series is known for.

This movie takes place in between 2 Fast 2 Furious and Tokyo Drift, making it Walker's third starring role in the series and Diesel's second, aside from the cameo at the end of TD. Diesel and Walker work so well together on screen, it's hard not to be impressed by their performance. Mix that with amazing cars, fast races, revenge, and a little sex and you have got yourself an ok action movie. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes the previous movies in the series.

Final Words: Saw it. Liked it. Han is my favourite.
