One over the shoulder strap is back! It gives a sense of femininity and sexiness. There are so many different varieties of one shoulder swimwear, you'll definitely have no problem finding one that fits you and your style.

Cut outs
Cut out swimwear is very sensual and modern. They are a trend that wasn't exactly popular during the ‘50s. If you want to go to the beach (without actually swimming of course) and be the centre of attention, then wear one of these babies.

Accessorize it up
Don't be scared to spice up a bathing suit with fabulous jewellery or sheer slips. This will definitely complete a look and add a bit more spice, if you know what I mean. The slips are actually a good idea when you want to wear a bikini, but are a little shy. It gives the perfect coverage.

Solid colours
I have seen a bit of pattern on the runway, but solid is definitely been the most popular. Simple and sexy is the message that these suits are trying to send across. And, this is the perfect time to use the other tip I gave, and accessorize it up to make it your own.

Everyone has completely fallen in love with these one-piece bikinis. I have actually seen these warn the most out of all trends by everyday people. They are very sexy, and there are many different types. They were a big hit last year and are again this year.

Too tiny
In the past, I've seen people (God bless you) who believe that they can squeeze into the tiniest bikinis and get away with it. Some people can, but some can't. This one also goes out to the people who choose to wear just plain skimpy bathing suits, like the bra that only covers an inch.

Baggy
This situation is very unfortunate. If you buy a suit that fits perfectly on top, but a little baggy on the bottom, then get a refund and pick another. It is very unflattering and will ruin your whole look that you put together.

Mis-matching
This trend is very cute on some people, but for some reason, not everyone can pull it off. Maybe if the colours or patterns are clashing too much then it makes it not look right. Not quite sure yet, but when I figure it out I'll get back to you.

Granny floral patterns
I really can't stand these patterns, especially on one pieces that fully cover your body. I mean, if you can pull it off with a modern touch to it then be my guest. It just looks unstylish, but hey that's just my opinion.

Too much
If you are wearing a busy swimsuit, with numerous necklaces, and a big hat, then you are doing way too much. Less is sometimes more, and in this case, less is always more.
