The fringed look
You can only pull these fab shoes off if you are wearing the right outfit with them. A form-fitting mini dress is perfect with these because the shoes will be able to stand out a whole lot more.

Gladiator
I can't get enough of these beautiful creations! You can really broaden the range of how you wear them because there are both gladiator inspired flats and heels. They are great because they allow you to dress both up and down.

Tie ‘em up!
This trend has been around for a while now. Every year they become more up to date. These also are great in both heel form, and flat form. They add a sense of femininity, especially when ribbon is being used.

Exotic features
If you walk into your favourite shoe store, you'll see many shoes that are inspired from different countries, like India. This exotic look can add a little bit of drama to an outfit. You just have to make sure you choose your outfit carefully; you don't want to look too busy.

Ankle straps
In my opinion, the higher the heel is, the better the ankle strap shoe will look on you. These can add sexiness, that isn't overdone to an outfit. Ankle straps can definitely make you feel girly, in a good way.

Not

Flowered flip-flops
Ok guys, those flip-flops with the giant flower on them, have to go! They seem to be a little immature. We aren't in high school anymore; it's time that we up date our wardrobes a little bit.

Too high
Wearing tasteful, super high heels is far from a bad thing, but it is when you can't walk in them. Just because they look good on the shelf, doesn't mean that you're automatically going to know how to walk in them.

Stripper heels
Leave them for the strippers please. There's nothing more….unlady-like than walking down the street, or even going out, in stripper heels. It makes it look like you're trying too hard.

Spice Girl platforms
These platform shoes are very...not in season anymore. They were fun to wear when the Spice Girls were popular, but now its time to give them up.

Crocs
I can't even call these a trend, they were/are shoes that are “comfortable”, so everyone started wearing them. What happened to the style awareness side of people? If you are doing yard work, or taking out the garbage, then fine, but other than that, don't even think about it.
