From the Editor: New Year's Issue
Dear readers,
Welcome to our first issue of 2025. A new year is upon us, and with it comes new challenges, new hopes, and of course, new stories. I hope you’ve all had a nice, relaxing break and are feeling ready to take on this semester.
The winter months can feel long and, at times, exhausting. January is kind of a funny time to dive into a new chapter of life, and yet here we are. Somehow, we always find a way to push through the short, dark days of winter and come out the other end alive. In spite of the likely unprecedented times ahead, I have no doubt that we will make it through again.
Our New Year issue is jam-packed with articles to get you inspired for the year, from tips on the best music to listen to while you study, to a look at how to make the most of your last semester in college. We’ve also got a ton of news to catch up on, like a massive investment from the WSIB to build a new extended reality space at Fanshawe College, and how a second-year Fanshawe student is pursuing a Guinness World Record.
As this year progresses, I want to remind you all once again that Interrobang is with you every step of the way. We will be on newsstands every other week throughout the semester, keeping you informed and engaged with all things related to student life. Find us online at theinterrobang.ca, on Bluesky at @fsuinterrobang, and on our YouTube channel, where we post video stories and full episodes of our podcast.
Here’s to an amazing year!
Sincerely,
Hannah Theodore
