Athletes of the week

October 27-28 had the Women's Soccer team playing at the OCAA Semi Finals at Sheridan. After losing out to the Durham Lords on Friday, the ladies went on to get shut out by the Humber Hawks on Saturday. Although playoff dreams were lost out, we have confidence that they will make it all the way next year.

In her words: “The soccer program is something that I joined knowing it had many new faces. I love that it is a constantly growing program that attracts new and talented athletes. Not only is the coaching staff one that couldn't possibly get more dynamite, but the atmosphere and feeling this program presents to athletes like myself is so positive and encouraging. It has so many more people involved in it then just my team and coaches and there are so many people involved to help make this program great and thats what I love about it. For now I see myself playing Fanshawe Soccer for one more year and then I will go from there. Definitely do not want to quite this sport anytime soon. Love it too much. This has been a great experience so far, met so many good people who have been involved with my success as a soccer player and a person. Can't wait to play again next year and have high hopes as it most likely will be my final year.”
