The Heel Turn: When will Cena turn heel?
More fuel keeps getting added to
the fire as far as John Cena's
rumoured heel turn is concerned.
Week after week, the vicious monster
Kane has been attacking and
brutalising both Cena and Zack
Ryder. He has even sent Ryder to
the hospital twice, and he also
threatened to harm Ryder's storyline
girlfriend Eve Torres. Because
of Kane's continuous evil actions,
Cena has slowly displayed a more
aggressive attitude to try to combat
the big red monster. Whether this
will lead to Cena turning against
Ryder and Eve is unclear, but it is
very interesting to witness Cena's
"boy scout" nature get eaten away
by Kane.
Natalya Neidhart's recent storyline would have one thinking that she angered somebody in charge. She has been getting jobbed out to every other Diva she comes into contact with, most notably Tamina, the daughter of the legendary Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. Things took an even more embarrassing turn for Natalya on Smackdown last week, as it was made to appear as if she farted during a backstage segment with GM Teddy Long and Aksana. Following this, she was pinned by Aksana in roughly 10 seconds.
I'm not sure who Natalya may have pissed off, but someone as skilled as she is should not be jobbed out to rookies like Aksana, or subjected to such humiliating backstage skits. Natalya is one of the few Divas who knows how to wrestle, and that, of course, is due to her excellent training and Hart family background. This, however, is not the first time someone from an important wrestling family has been treated in an undignified fashion. Chavo Guerrero also went through this a couple years back with the Kerwin White gimmick he was saddled with, in addition to being made to wrestle and lose to Hornswoggle every week in matches with ridiculous stipulations.
Hopefully Natalya's losing streak ends soon and she gets elevated to the top of the Divas division again. I've said this before, but all she needs to do is develop some more personality and get the right push, and she could one day become an even greater Diva than Trish Stratus. The heel turn was working for her until WWE creative started backtracking with her. It's time though to drop the juvenile fart humour, treat Natalya with respect and put that Divas championship back on her for a long title reign.
