londonmusic.ca rocks the city

Are you sick and tired of scrambling to figure out where in London your favourite band is playing? Is it too overwhelming to search through each venue individually just to find what you're looking for? Are you bored on a Friday night but can't figure out what to do? Thanks to londonmusic.ca, all your troubles have disappeared.

Jonathan Clemens, founder of Consillience Creative, has created a website that lists every concert happening in London on a given day, making it easier for music lovers to find the shows they're looking for.

londonmusic.ca is a simple, streamlined, user-friendly site that allows music lovers to simply look at the calendar for day they want to do something fun and see a complete listing of all the shows in London that day. By clicking on the band name, users will be taken to a page where show time, venue and ticket information are all clearly laid out.

"London has always been a community with an incredible local music scene, however there was never a clear place where you could find out about all of the concerts going on," said Clemens. Calling londonmusic.ca his "pet project," he explained, "Our mission for this project is to have a one-stop calendar for anyone in London to be able to find out what is going on around the city in an easy to use, non-genre discriminating calendar."

londonmusic.ca has proven to be quite the success; from the site's go-live date in September 2011 to December 2011, the site received more than 2,300 visits. According to Clemens, the site has been not only well-received by concertgoers, but by those who run the venues as well.

When asked about the future of londonmusic.ca, Clemens said, "We are always looking for new ways to improve the site. Currently we are looking into doing mobile apps for the site to make it even easier to use."

So head on over to londonmusic.ca and enjoy the musical smorgasbord!
