Hoping for strong end to first half

The men's volleyball team is hoping to end the first half of the season the same way they started, with winning. The Falcons played St. Clair on November 16 and played a very strong game, winning in three straight sets.

The team played some of their best volleyball of the season with amazing hitting and strong defensive plays. This game was a great motivator for the team and gave them a massive confidence boost to end the season with.

The team is young but they are coming around very fast and learning each others' strengths and weaknesses faster than expected – possibly due to the hard work by Coach Josh Westgate. He has been coaching for five years and is doing an excellent job with a very young team; they look like they have played together for years. The sky's the limit for this young team.

With the first half of the season coming to an end, the men are hoping to win their last four games and keep the confidence high to attack the second half in full sprint. The men know that this time of the year is always hard to maintain focus with exams and Christmas break coming close but have the confidence in themselves to balance both school and the team.

With only four games left of the first half, the Falcons need your support more than ever. Check tinyurl.com/mensvball2011 for their full schedule.
