Fanshawe who loves ya?! This is it... our ride is almost over. I've been very grateful for the opportunity to represent you as the 2009-2010 FSU president and it was definitely an eventful year. Together we made it through 13 grad ceremonies, a potential faculty strike, H1N1, an influx of new students, a Halloween “riot,” hosting an OCAA basketball championship, an LTC strike and one cold ass winter. The road wasn't always smooth, but really who would want it any other way?

I was fortunate to work alongside an amazing executive team: Veronica, Andrew, Kevin, JoJo, Malcolm, Kyle and Coleshill. You've taught me that in life you can often find some of your greatest friendships in some of the most unexpected places. I want to thank Paul, James, Turbo, Younger, J. Said, Beef, Carol and everyone at the FSU for an incredible year and some unforgettable memories.

A special thanks to the college administration, faculty, support workers, maintenance crew and all those who had a profound impact on my career as a student and president here at Fanshawe. I also want to shout out to the Fanshawe students who voted in last year's election and even those who didn't. You set a record for voter turnout that no college in Ontario has even come close to. I guess that's just how we do!

Last but certainly not least, my core campaign team, Shaker, Lawrence and Huruy. There's no way I could have won this position without your help. I absolutely owe to you the last year of my life. I got nothing but love. The tequila's always on me.

Fanshawe look out for your next president Joe Scalia and the new incoming execs... they're going to do big things next year. As for me, it's on to the next one. Peace.
