Coincidence or conspiracy? Lincoln to Kennedy

If you were to ask any American to name two of the greatest presidents in the history of their nation, you will most likely hear the name Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. Both, legends of American politics and great men in general.

But if you are not a politics guru, then you probably would never look into the strict details of so many coincidences or, as some say, a possibility of a conspiracy at hand.

If you ever had the thought that the world was, in fact, controlled by a group of people, or a secret sect or society, such as the Freemasons, then these facts might actually come in handy to prove or disprove your stance.

Many authors put these facts forth, but I have personally checked each of the facts and was awestruck myself.

- Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846, one hundred years later in 1946, so was John F. Kennedy.

- Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860, one hundred years later in1960, so was John F. Kennedy.

- Both Presidents were concerned with civil rights and social concerns, and both their surnames have seven letters.

- Both of their wives lost their children while living in the White House

- Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy, while Kennedy's secretary was named Lincoln.

Now for the shocking part. Both were assassinated. Both were shot on Friday. Both were shot in the head. Both of the assassinators were Southerners and both of the presidents that succeeded the two were Southerners with the last name Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808, while Lyndon Johnson who succeeded Kennedy was born in 1908. Another 100-year coincidence.

The two assassinators were both known to the public by their three names and funny enough were born 100 years apart as well. John Wilkes Booth who assassinated Lincoln was born in 1839, while Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy was born in 1939. Funny enough, both their names have another thing in common, each of them are comprised of 15 letters. Both of these assassins were assassinated before their trial, which speaks to our Western judicial system of “free till found guilty” myth.

Another interesting fact was that Lincoln was shot at Ford's Theater by the name of “Kennedy,” while Kennedy was shot in an all American car named Lincoln, made by Ford.

So coincidence or conspiracy?
