Diamonds are forever, shagging just one night

There are few things in this world that the “average” woman loves more than diamonds. Plenty of women adore chocolates, shoes, babies, handbags and wearing an awesome dress. But diamonds, now those are precious. They sparkle too — just like that vampire-guy that the entire female population dreams about. They also dream about the doctor from Grey's Anatomy. But getting back on topic, diamonds, they get a woman attention. Women really enjoy that. However this opinion is not about romantic proposals or the kind of love found in tales such as 27 Dresses or The Princess Bride. It's about shagging.

I don't know very many dedicated students who aren't busy but it's clear that some are looking for relationships and others are only chasing relations.

Everyone knows that the scale is tipped towards females in the relationship seekers department. That's not news. And neither is the fact that women want to share emotions and feel loved whereas men normally just wanna feel a girl's butt. In a recent poll, more European men wanted to watch the World Cup finals with his mates than spend a night with his dream woman. (Here in North America, the boys would probably choose video games). With priorities so different, it's no wonder so many couples come and go. Bottom line, the majority of women are seeking relationships and most guys just want to get laid. Women want to get laid too, but afterwards they want to cuddle and talk about it.

Maybe students should be taking matters into their own hands by winning a round of Sex Toy Bingo and having Beef (the host), verbally belittle them in front of everyone they know. And following that Fanshawe College right of passage, he'd likely throw the recipient an extra large dildo and instruct them to not-so-subtly insert it into their rectum, no matter which team they're on. Lube not included. This way, they could help themselves, college style.

So what's the solution? Every girl should have a relationship and a guy on the side. Like this, the boys who want to get laid can get laid, and then are free to go on their merry way. This is crucial because many boys view freedom as the paradigm of their existence, yours truly included. The boys who want more than a physical relationship can get it from their girlfriends, and the girls can enjoy all the attention they can handle. But the cheating girlfriend…what about her boyfriend's feelings? Not to worry. In case you haven't noticed, women, when properly motivated, can keep secrets better than the dead.

Sure, having been in both situations, it's much more fun to be the boy on the side, knocking on a girl's window at 1 a.m. than the poor boyfriend who is being played yet still deeply cared for. It'd certainly be a fairer world if there were no exclusive deals and everyone was free to play. Is that likely to happen? No, but leave it to a songwriter to distract you from a conclusion. In the thirsty words of Jimmy Buffett, let's get drunk and screw.
