First year pre-health sciences student, Katrina Richter, lives in a middle of no-where hick town and has grown up with country music, barn parties and buck ‘n' does. She loves fastball and could not go a summer without playing. She loves life and can't wait to see where she goes from Fanshawe!

1. Why are you here?
Why is anyone at college?! To party....oh and get an education!

2. What was your life changing moment?
I don't know if I've had an epiphany thus far in my life, but I know every Sunday at church I feel that my life has changed a little bit.

3. What music are you currently listening to?
Anything country. Mostly Kenny Chesney, Paul Brandt, Brooks and Dunn and Josh Turner.

4. What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?
“Some people dream of success, don't be like them. Get up and work hard for it.”

5. Who is your role model?
Barbie! Who doesn't want to be Barbie...she's got everything.

6. Where in the world have you traveled?
Thanks to my parents and fastball career I've been to almost every state and province in the US and Canada. I've also been on family vacations to the Dominican, Mexico, Honduras and Belize.

7. What was your first job?
I taught piano to little kids. Looking back it was an awesome job. I got to make my own hours, pay and got to share something I loved with others. Isn't that what pretty much everyone strives for, to do something that they love?

8. What would your last meal be?
My dad's chicken mozzarella and I would eat dessert first because my mom never lets me do that.

9. What makes you uneasy?
The thought of losing anyone in my life.

10. What is your passion?
Life. It definitely keeps you guessing, it's kind of fun to try and stay one step ahead.
