Hot or Not: New Year's Resolutions

Hot

Improve grades
With the end of second semester quickly approaching, now is the time to buckle down and better your grades. Ending a school year with a big bang is the best feeling ever!

Quit smoking
Even though dropping this disgusting habit is difficult, it is so worth it. It just takes time, commitment and people who support and monitor you.

Stress less
Stress can do a lot of damage to your body. Making a schedule for homework and studying will not only allow you to get more rest, but decrease the hair pulling that you do.

Lose weight
There is such a thing as a “Freshman 15.” Losing that weight that you put on from eating all that greasy fried food will ultimately give you more energy that will increase your grades.

Save money
Being in college already takes up a lot of money, so why not say no to ordering out, and instead cook something, to save up for that greatly needed history book that costs a fortune.

Mature wardrobe
College is a great time to invest in a more mature wardrobe. Especially with moving on to your careers. It's time to throw away your “high school” look and get hip to the “work day” look.

Not

Party more
It's ok to “party like a rock star” once in a while, but for people who do that and want to increase it, think about how much more difficult it'll be to attend class the next day.

No Resolution
Some people seem to blow of this time to improve something about themselves, which sucks because now is the time to do it. EVERYONE around you will be improving something about themselves, so it will make it that much easier for you to.

Fall in love
There's nothing wrong with wanting to fall in love, but forcing it is. Letting it happen naturally is the best way to go.

Fail out of school
I know what you think, “What?” But believe it or not, people actually planned to drop out of school because of bad grades instead of trying to turn things around.

Delete someone
Remember that big argument you had with your best friend that you are kind of still in? Instead of deciding to just delete them as a friend, why not try to work things out.

Increase drinking
It is hard to stay focused as it is, but imagine if you're drunk 24/7. Ease up on the booze and concentrate on what's really important. Make mature decisions.
