A few weeks ago the CSA decided they would donate money to each college's food bank (in Fanshawe's case The Sharing Shop) every time an article about CSA appeared in the school's newspaper. The purpose was of course to inform students about what the CSA does and why your student union is a member.

More CSA updates will be published in The Interrobang next semester so we can keep raising money for The Sharing Shop but also to keep Fanshawe students in the know about CSA related issues. For instance, you can stop by the Student Union office in SC2001 and pick up a “We've Got Your Back” ballot and enter to win $200 cash (which I am sure you will spend responsibly if you win).

The ballot is about the size of a postcard and contains some information for you about how the CSA has teamed up with student unions across Ontario to take on issues such as OSAP and tuition (and what better way to take on those issues than with $200 in your pocket!) It's a little incentive to help inform students about what the CSA can do for you. And what better incentive than cash, money, cheddar (yes, I did just call it cheddar).

Of course if you ever want any kind of information about the CSA you can visit www.collegestudentalliance.ca or stop by the student union office and just ask.
