What??? This chick gets two articles in The Interrobang? What's going on?

The reason I have two articles in the paper this week is because I have been writing a CSA Update every week to keep information about the CSA available to Fanshawe students and this week happens to be my turn to write the FSU article. As a result, you get a little extra Rachel this week, just in time for the holiday season.

Speaking of the holiday season, I noticed a lot of us are running around trying to get all of our final assignments done and studying for exams. Just remember if you receive a grade that is unfair come talk to me and I will give you the advice you need to help you get your grade appealed. I can only help you get unfair grades appealed so you still have to work hard and study for exams. Once you're done though it will all be worth it and you will finally have some time off to visit your family, take a trip, or lounge around your house in your underwear drinking cheap Chardonnay watching old Christmas specials and working on half finished art projects that have been sitting around for three years (hey I don't judge you on what you do on your holiday).

Just remember to have fun and try not to get in too much trouble because before you know it you will be back in class and your workload will start all over again. Make sure to keep a lookout for all the things that will be going on for next semester.

There will be a Student 2 Business conference on January 26. It happens at the London Convention Centre and for $10 you get food, drinks, information sessions, they will print you off 50 business cards so you can network with local businesses. The keynote speaker this year is author and business guru Richard Florida. You can register anytime between now and January 16 at www.ledc.com/s2b. Keep in mind the S2B conference is not a job fair, it is a networking opportunity. Fanshawe will be having its own career fair next semester so stay tuned for that as well.

It was a great first semester Fanshawe, it was something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life. Have a great holiday and I will see you next semester!
