Mascara makes its mark
I think I'm safe to say that all women own a tube or two.
The main purpose of mascara is to emphasize the eyelashes. Whether you purchased it at Shoppers Drug Mart or from a designer's station at The Bay, it has the same effect. Maybe you're the type of gal that likes to wear a lot, just a little, or likes to experiment with different colours, like navy or brown. Waterproof or smudgeproof, mascara is a big part of our evolving fashion history.
The history of mascara

2006: Rimmel experiments with a non-bristle brush with ‘Extreme Volume Mascara.'
2008: Modern day inventions are to the extreme with eyelash extensions (just like getting hair extensions). Lash extension procedures can cost up to $200 and over. And eyelash dye (just like normal hair dye), a black dye that makes the wearer look like they are wearing mascara.
Mascara will always be around and continue enhance and evolve to keep women looking beautiful.
