Dr. Howard Rundle is President of Fanshawe College.

1. What is something about you that most people don't know?
I am a Dilbert fan.

2. If you were on a deserted island and could only bring one item or person with you, what would it be?
My best friend and confidant, Lynda, who also happens to be my wife.

3. What is your greatest indulgence?
Doing manual labour (carpentry, wood chopping, and masonry) poorly at our cottage.

Your Show of Shows staring Sid Ceaser, Immogene Coco, Carl Reiner, and Howard Morris.

5. Who is your favourite band/group/musician?
The Beatles.

6. What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Find a job you love to do.

7. What actor would you choose to play you in a movie?
Jimmy Stewart, but he is dead so that would be difficult.

8. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose to live?
London, Ontario, Canada

9. What was your first job?
Labourer in the Truck Assembly Plant, General Motors, Oshawa.

10. What is your dream job?
President of Fanshawe College.

11. What is your opinion on reality TV shows? Which one do you think goes too far?
Generally boring and inane and I don't watch them.

12. What stresses you out?
Not much.

13. Do you consider yourself a risk taker? If so, what is the biggest risk you've taken?
Yes, but calculated. A big risk for me at the time was investing the small amount of money I did have when I was in College in the stock market.

14. If you could foresee the outcome of one event or moment in your life, what would it be?
The value of the stock market on December 31, 2006.

15. If you were in a big crowd and were trying to get a celebrity's attention, what would you yell?
Duck!

16. Who is your role model?
My father.

17. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
To have the talent to play the piano well.

18. If you could have three wishes fulfilled, what would they be?
Health and happiness for my wife, my children, and me.

19. Do you believe in love at first sight?
No, it is far too deep of an emotion for that.

20. When and where was your last vacation?
Two weeks at our cottage in August and it was a spectacular summer vacation in Ontario.
