University of Western Ontario research professor Bon Scott panhandles near the corner of Dundas and Richmond Streets last week in an effort to raise cash for his research project. Scott's $75,000 2008 Sigma Boozin Boyz funding has nearly evaporated just two weeks into the new year. Fueling Scott's dilemma is that he is not eligible for tenure and must fund his salary entirely through research grants. He's hoping Londoners answer his call for alcohol with what change they can spare so he can continue his important work.
