Welcome back Fanshawe students. I hope everyone had an amazing summer and an awesome first week back. Summer seemed like it flew by and we are already balls-deep into the books again.

As your new Vice President of Entertainment, I want to ensure the fact that you are all aware of the AMAZING events we have planned for you this year. Keep your eyes pinned on the posters that keep appearing around the campus about the different ‘happenins' we will be having.

As many of you already know, MOBILE will be playing for our orientation concert on Tuesday, September 11, and PROTEST THE HERO will be playing on the Friday, September 14 in Forwell Hall. Tickets are available at the Biz Booth.

Also be sure to come to the Out Back Shack on Monday nights. It's a chance for the true-blue Rock stars to get on stage and show off their mad guitar hero skills. We will be having a competition on who can shred the Xbox game the hardest.

If you guys don't have a blast this year, then I'm not really doing my job. So make sure that you come out to the events, have some drinks, cut some rugs and we can all let our hair down and party like its 1910.

Be sure to join the FSU WEB Facebook group, as well as the VP's individual groups. It's a good way to stay informed and to make sure that you know what's going on. If you want to help out at all this year or if you want to join Fanshawe Activities Board (F.A.B), then shoot me an email at fsuentertain@fanshawec.ca and we can discuss it. I look forward to meeting all of you this year.
