No opinion should be censored in handbook

Joshua Bowman went too far by saying that The Right to Life Organization's ads should be banned from student handbooks. Censorship of this sort should not be included from the campaigns of both 'Pro-choice' and 'Anti-choice' campaigns. Of course, in a perfect world without ignorance there would BE no Right to Life, let alone it's legion of Christian propagandists.

Anti-Choice; I believe that is the correct term to date. Make no mistake, they refer to pro-choice as "Anti-Life" or, as Josh so eloquently put it, "Pro-Death" (which I find most amusing.) Anti-Choice preaching always cracks me up. The way they unscrupulously twist the facts and provide false-information and fallacies to the unknowing public as facts.

Let's use Nathanael Mooij's recent letter to strengthen our case. At one point he refers to depression as a post abortion syndrome. However, I challenge him to provide the public with a scrap of scientific evidence to that effect. Evidence, of course, not affected by the opinions of the author.

Depression? Let's look at those women who give up their baby after nine months for adoption. Or the fifteen year old girl who has given up her future as a successful woman in the workforce, to drop out of high school and work at McDonald's to support her fatherless child. (But then again we all know the Church's view of a woman's role in society.)

Let us be critical thinkers, and base our opinions on known fact. Let's clear the bigotry out of the school system and out of society forever by finally moving forward!
