SAC Corner: Art and Design pub coming soon
Welcome to the first SAC Corner! I'm Jason Wilton, your Art and Design department representative. The SAC Corner is a way for the divisional representatives to report on all of the things happening in their departments.
As all of my class reps know, we are keeping very busy and I'm excited to get this New Year started with events coming up like new bands, Dental Referendum, and our Art and Design divisional pub.
Thursday, February 22 will be the date of our baggage pub. This event, which benefits Good Will, will be a good chance for our entire division to meet up and mingle, as well as an opportunity for you and a friend to leave at midnight for an all expenses paid trip to Toronto! The entire Art and Design Division host this pub, so if anyone in the division wants to help out, speak to your class reps or come to me directly. This will be an awesome opportunity to help and get involved!
So far this year, we have assembled an enthusiastic group of class representatives filled with ideas and feedback. This gives me the opportunity to represent our department fully. In our rep meetings, we have discussed potential opportunities as well as problems within our department and, as a team, are working to resolve them one at a time. For the most part I have all classes spoken for however I do need a few more representatives so if you want to get involved in our department, e-mail me anytime at a_wilton22907@fansaweonline.ca.
