Storage boxes in funky colours will really brighten up your workspace while keeping it organized.

As we reach the halfway point of the semester, clutter in our workstation areas just seems to accumulate more and more as each week passes. With all this extra clutter lying around, it's almost impossible to focus on your homework!

The clutter comes from all those assignments you've worked so hard on and from all the extra supplies you've had to buy in the past two months and surely more is to come as we continue to move towards the end of the semester — exam time! This clutter isn't going to organize itself, so it's time to get busy to make the rest of your semester's homework life a little more neat and tidy.

Consider these workspace must-haves:

Boxes With Lids: These are fantastic for storing your books, binders, and big stacks of blank paper. The lids make it easy to stack boxes on top of each other. Add fancy labels so you can quickly and easily locate everything you need.

Letter Tray: These are perfect for all your miscellaneous papers and to keep your assignments organized.

Magazine File Holder: These are perfect for storing your smaller textbooks and magazines, because they keep them neat, organized, and within easy reach.

Pencil Holder: This is mandatory because it keeps all of your writing utensils organized and easy to find.

Corkboards: These are the perfect spot to post all of your daily and weekly reminders and inspirations. These are much neater than tacking pictures and sticking notes to your wall.

You can purchase these at pretty much any local department or office supply store.

All of these types of items are available in fun colours and bright patterns. Always choose these items that appeal to your personal taste! It'll make the organizing more fun and personal.

As we move through the semester, it is very important to keep your work area neat and tidy. By doing this you will never have to worry about not finding anything or having to work in a mess again. Remember, being organized makes your life a little easier so you can focus on what's really important: schoolwork (okay, and having fun, too)! Enjoy!
