For those of you who are inside working, instead of enjoying the summer weather outside, and need a reason to procrastinate, I'm here to help! Below are a few sites that I've been visiting instead of working. Hope these help you out!
- Pathetic Personals - http://www.patheticpersonals.com/ - Here's a good laugh for all of you! If you've been on dating sites (and who hasn't — at least to take a look), you've seen some pretty ridiculous profiles and pictures. If you want the worst of the worst, look no further than this site. Scouting across different dating sites, PP.com brings the best of the worst to your clicking finger. Make sure to check out other areas of the site where they list some of the funniest (and probably sincere) quotes taken from people's profiles. I hope I'm not on there somewhere!
- Adidas' new campaign for something - http://www.r255g255b255.net/ - Do ask me what they're trying to sell, but if you click all the links to the left of the screen, Adidas has seven different mini “commercials” each with its own colour reference. You just have to see these clips to figure them out for yourself because they're just plain weird…and they'll take up a little bit of your time.
- Julian Beever's Pavement Drawings - http://users.skynet.be/J.Beever/pave.htm - THIS STUFF IS AWESOME! It really boggles my mind how people can manipulate perception to create cool drawings like this. Go to this site to see the amazing pavement drawings that look like they're real. You just have to see this to believe it, people! Believe me on this one.
- The Official Street Fighter 2 website - http://ww2.capcom.com/streetfighter/main.html- The reason this site is so important is because it gives you all the details on one of the best fighting franchises ever created. What's even better is that Street Fighter 2 — Hyper Fighting is on its way in the next few weeks to Xbox Live.
- Find your inner celebrity at My Heritage www.myheritage.com - If you think you bare any resembalance to Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie or even Chuck Norris, this is the place to verify it. Just upload your picture to the website and they will match your face with a bevy of celebrities. Don't be disappointed if you think you look like Jessica Alba and it come up Jack Black, the search isn't gender specific!
