Fringe seeks fun, fantastic, fastidious volunteers

Fringe is one of the highlights of London's festival schedule, and it needs your help! If you love theatre, if you want to support art or if you just want to volunteer for a great cause, the Fringe Festival wants you on their team.

From June 5 to 16, Fringe is taking over downtown London with 43 productions, an art show and Nuit Blanche, blanketing the Forest City with all forms of art. They need approximately 200 volunteers to usher, run box offices, and staff the visual events during the Festival.

Since all proceeds from the shows go directly to the artist, the Fringe Festival relies on the hard work of volunteers to ensure the events run smoothly.

Why volunteer? “We are fun!” exclaimed Sue Garner, the Festival's volunteer engagement coordinator for this year. “Volunteering is a chance to get to see some theatre for free and contribute to the Festival.”

There's a wide variety of times available, and Fringe staff will work to fit volunteering into your schedule.
