Transition into this spring with a structured silhouette that mixes some exotic elements with crisp white and a pop of colour!

This spring, the silhouettes for blazers are boxier with interesting new details in the collar and hemline. The boxiness of the blazers allows you to pair them with a fitted pair of trousers or even a looser fit pant and still keep the outfit looking formal.

Start your outfit with a crisp white blazer that has a little bit of a shoulder pad to help give more definition to the outfit. The lapel of this week's blazer is a faux white leather, a subtle detail that is different this season. You can pair it with a basic tank top or, as in this week's photo, a cropped black tank top, which will pair nicely with the joggers (these can be worn at the waist if you don't want to show too much skin). The royal blue joggers add a fun pop of colour and a street fashion, mix-and-match feel to the outfit and are super comfortable! They have a stretchy elastic hem, which makes them easy to wear with a pair of strappy snakeskin gladiator heels. These awesome platform gladiators have a fun mix of white, snakeskin and beige, which complement the crispness of the blazer nicely. Finish the outfit with a little gold rope chain necklace for detailing; you don't want to overdo it, since the blazer is such a clean and simple silhouette.

1. White Structured Blazer with White Leather Lapels: The silhouette of this blazer is a bit boxier because it has buttons or hooks to close. The shoulder pads help give definition to the shoulder and create an illusion of a lengthened upper body. (Forever 21, $41.50)

2. Black Cropped Tank Top: This awesome cropped top is a great basic to start building your spring wardrobe around. It looks great if you want to wear with high-waisted bottoms or waist-level bottoms for an edgier look that shows off a little bit of skin. (Dynamite, $14)

3. Royal Blue Joggers: This is an extremely comfortable pair of joggers that have a stretchy waist and hem. They add a casual and street feel to the outfit, contrasting the structured blazer. (Forever 21, $17)

4. Snakeskin and Neutral Gladiator Platforms: These are a fabulous addition of the outfit. They keeps the outfit dressed up to complement the blazer, and the snakeskin looks great with the blue pants.

5. Rope Chain Necklace: A simple but detailed necklace ties the whole outfit together. This necklace can be worn as a bracelet when doubled on the wrist. (Forever 21, $6)

This outfit is a fun mix of dressy formal elements like the blazer, necklace and gladiators with the casual joggers and cropped top. It is a great example of how adding a blazer can completely change the theme of an outfit!
