Robbery
London Police are investigating a robbery that occurred February 17, 2006. At 9:40 pm the female victim on this case walked to the rear enterance of her building, located at 619 William Street. As she walked around a van parked outside her door, a male who had been hiding on the passenger side of the van lunged at her. Brandishing a knife, he pushed her to the ground and attempted to pull the bags that she was carrying. Scared off by witnesses, the suspect broke off the attack and ran to the passenger side of the van. The van sped away at a high rate of speed. The victim suffered minor injuries.

The vehicle involved is described as mid-90's GMC Safari van or Chevy Astro van, two-tone silver and maroon.

The attacker is male, 6', 175 lbs. with a navy handkerchief on his face, dark touque, navy jacket and dark pants.

Arson
The Stathroy Caradoc Police are investigating an arson at 20859 Muncey Road. A barn was set on fire at this location Sunday, January 8th. Police arrived at 11:44 pm to find the structure burning. The building was totally destroyed by the fire. Several farm implements, valued at $46,000 stored in the barn were also destroyed. The following evening, police and the fire department were sent to this same location where the abandoned house was set on fire. Police are investigating both these fires as arson.
