Players like Mario Balotelli make Manchester City an easy team to like, for a number of different reasons.

As a continuing feature with this column, I will list the English Premier League teams and why you should cheer for each one.

Swansea City: The only Welsh team in the history of the EPL, Swansea plays a very attractive attacking style. Very nice selection, unfortunately they have exCanadian Jonathan de Guzmán, so basically if you like the Swans you hate Canada.

West Bromwich Albion: A very stable EPL team. They are always kicking and taking results away from better teams. That and their very pretty navy and white striped kit makes them a great team to cheer for if your roommates like bigger teams.

Fulham FC: Half-heartedly, this team has snuck by very well the last couple years. They even made the Europa League (the league below the Champions League) Final a few years back. Plus they play at Craven Cottage. Yes, a cottage.

Liverpool FC: Ah yes, the team that once was. Liverpool was the champion of Europe less than a decade ago, and have been in a slow decline since. No longer bankrupt, the club still has lots of history and fans everywhere. A great choice.

Everton: On the other side of Liverpool lies Everton. They are having a great year, and they might even push into Europe. Their slick blue jerseys with white shorts are too nice not to like.

Chelsea: Champions of Europe last year, this team is another classic option. And why not this year? They finished poorly last year, but are well on their way to a title challenge this year. A great club that is easy to follow.

Newcastle United: A good, young team with a bright future. Plus, their uniforms look like referees in North America. That means you would actually like a referee. That's really going against the grain!

Tottenham Hotspurs: The Spurs are a team with lots of talent. They play a really positive style and led by players like Gareth Bale, they have a bright future.

Arsenal: A good team to cheer for. Manager Arsene Wenger believes in making money by developing young players and selling them. In a good financial status, they rarely go and buy better players. They sit in a little mediocrity, not winning a trophy in years.

Manchester United: The Red Devils were always the much maligned team to cheer for. However, now they have lost their crown of Manchester and the Premier League by the team below, they are now underdogs. Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney were both top scorers in the league last year, and will surely score plenty to make this team exciting.

Manchester City: If you're a glory hunter, then this prey is lying down, dead and already skinned. A team owned by billionaires, the club has bought all of the success they have had over the past few seasons. Champions of England, players like Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli will likely lead this team to European glory next. So if you don't have a soul and love selling out, City is for you.
