Meet your 2012/13 FSU Executives

Zack DodgeFSU President - Zack Dodge
What’s up Fanshawe!

My name is Zack Dodge, and over the past four years Fanshawe College has been my home. My time here has inspired me to give back to the student community that has changed my life forever, and that is why this next year as FSU President will be incredible. I am 24 years old, proudly Canadian and have lived in Ontario my whole life. I was born in Toronto, raised in Cambridge and I am now residing in London. Southern Ontario has been my home my entire life. Prior to my time at Fanshawe College, you could have found me drumming for a punk band, or working in a music store. Although I have many passions, my love for video games and media production is what brought my attention to Fanshawe. During my time on campus, I have graduated from Multi Media Design and Production, and I recently graduated from Corporate Communications and Public Relations. Fanshawe has allowed me to combine my passion for media production and my love for people, not just people, more or less communities, which is exactly what we represent as the Fanshawe student body. The past four years on campus have been life changing to say the least, and I truly owe it all to my involvement with the Fanshawe Student Union (FSU). This next year will define our campus in the 2012-13 year and I could not be more proud to represent each and every one of you!

Kendra SauderVP Entertainment - Kendra Sauder
Hey Fanshawe!

My name is Kendra Sauder and I am your VP Entertainment for 2012-13! I’m in my second year of Music Industry Arts (MIA) and have already graduated from Hotel Management and one year of General Arts! I was also an RA for 2 years in the Falcon and Merlin residences and I was a part of the Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) as the VP of Finance for the 2011-12 year. Needless to say, I love Fanshawe and I love events and music! But that isn’t the only part if the VP Entertainment position, the VP of E also sets up and works with the FU Crew and our volunteer promotional team! With my position I also plan Orientation and many other events throughout the year.

This year my goals are:
- to create a larger orientation experience through more sponsorships and more entertainment options
- create an orientation week that engages and attracts students to create more Falcon Spirit!
- increase the amount of Fanshawe talent on Fanshawe stages through Falcon Boomers, and possibilities to open for larger bands
- create more options for student choice and feedback through more battles of the band, talent competitions, voting and entertainment blogs

I cannot wait to meet as many of you as possible, feel free to email me or stop by the office to chat any time!
