Crossword dissapoints
Dear Editor:
I was very disappointed to see in the crossword the word 'sluts' as one of the solutions. Especially since last week was "Purple Day" to raise awareness for women abuse. You could have used other words that would have fit such as 'Loose.' When we use the word 'sluts' in common language, we allow that word to be ok to be used, which it's not. It is a derogatory term used to demean women by men. Please consider using more politically correct words in your crosswords and throughout your newspaper.
