Seconds in Sports - Call your bookies...I've made my predictions

Using intuition, and research I have predicted the order of each division in the NFL for the 05/06 season.

AFC East - New England, New York Jets, Buffalo, Miami. The two-time defending Super Bowl champion Patriots will withstand their team overhaul, and enter the season as the odds on favourites to three-peat. The Miami Dolphins will struggle offensively even with a sober Ricky Williams, and watch for Buffalo's Willis McGahee to dominate and win the league's rushing title.

AFC North - Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Baltimore, Cleveland. “Big” Ben Roethlisberger will lead Pittsburgh to an easy divisional title. Led by receiver Chad Johnson, running back Rudi Johnson, and quarterback Carson Palmer the Bengals will surge past an aging Raven's team and sneak into the playoffs.

AFC South - Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Houston, Tennessee. This is Indianapolis' year. They will earn the best record in football this season led by Peyton Manning and an improved Colts defence. Rookie wide receiver and converted quarterback Matt Jones from Jacksonville will be making regular appearances in highlight reels and opponents end zones.

AFC West - Kansas City, San Diego, Oakland, Denver. The Chiefs defence will enable them to leapfrog over San Diego, despite LaDainian Tomlinson pushing Manning in the MVP race. Jake Plummer will continue to disappoint in the mile-high city.

AFC Championship - Indianapolis finally defeats their nemesis, the New England Patriots. Manning will silence his critics and prove once and for all that the only hardware on his mind is the Lombardi trophy.

NFC East - Philadelphia, Dallas, New York Giants, Washington. Terrell Owens and Donovan McNabb will continue to bicker back and forth, but their depth as a team will prevail and send them to the best record in the NFC. Cowboy rookie DeMarcus Ware will be a stud defensive end, and lead the pack of talented freshman defenders in the NFL.

NFC North - Chicago, Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit. The Vikings and Daunte Culpepper will miss Randy Moss more then most people are saying. Brian Urlacher and the Chicago defence will be smothering. Rookie Kyle Orton will get receiver Muhsin Muhammad the ball enough to top the division.

NFC South - Carolina, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, New Orleans. A very balanced Carolina team will have veteran stars returning from injury resulting in them solving Mike Vick and the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints will struggle with emotions this season, as well with consistency on the field.

NFC West - St. Louis, Arizona, Seattle, San Francisco. Steven Jackson will have a great 1000-yard season for the Rams. Matt Hasselbeck will prove once and for all that he is garbage.

NFC Championship - Philadelphia will edge out Carolina and Donovan McNabb will get a chance at redemption in Super Bowl XL.

Super Bowl - The Colts will showcase their offence with Edgerrin James running for a touchdown, and Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, and Brandon Stokley all catching touchdowns from Super Bowl MVP Peyton Manning. McNabb will be left wondering what he has to do to win a Super Bowl.
