Falcons are shining stars

Three Falcons were amongst the stars at the 13th annual OCAA All-Star game held at Seneca College.

Freshman middle Katie Seys was chosen as the female representative and libero Pawel Kucharski and setter Bruno Urbani represented the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) West region.

The games showcased all-stars from the Central East & East region versus the all-stars from the Central West & West region. A total of 48 players representing twenty Colleges from across Ontario were selected to compete in the event.

The final results of the games had the East divisions dominating in both he men's and women's games.

Becky Rodin of Trent University was selected at the Player of the Game for the East division and led the women to a 2-1 victory over the Women's OCAA West team (26-24, 25-21, 27-29).

Brett Daily of Seneca College was chosen at the Player of the Game in the East division and led the men to a 2-1 victory over the Men's OCAA West team 2-1 (25-22, 23-25, 25-18).
