Interrobang at Osheaga

Begun in 2006, the Osheaga Festival Musique et Arts has blossomed into one of the leading music events in Canada, boasting considerable growth in every way - not only has the festival itself expanded into a multiple day event, but its attendance has also increased remarkably from its original incarnation years ago.

Held annually at Parc Jean—Drapeau on Île Sainte—Hélène, the festival is a veritable who's-who of musical heavyweights and upcoming artists, boasting a list of alumni that seems impossibly impressive considering its young age.

This year - the sixth for the festival - the lineup over three nights and six stages includes acts like Eminem, Kid Cudi, Broken Social Scene, Janelle Monáe, Bran Van 3000, Elvis Costello and The Imposters, Death From Above 1979, Lupe Fiasco, Karkwa, Bright Eyes, The Flaming Lips, The Tragically Hip, Death Cab For Cutie, Cypress Hill, City And Colour and more.

And what's more, I'm thrilled to say I'm going to attend the festival as media and represent Fanshawe at the festival. I'll be reporting back right here with all the awesome bits of adventure and craziness that I can; I've received photo privileges as well, and am looking very forward to capturing as much of the magic and adventure as possible.
