NOMINATIONS ARE NOW BEING SOUGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING POST-SECONDARY WIDE AWARDS:

JESSICA JEAN CAMPBELL COULSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
available to a full-time*, post-secondary diploma program student, with an identified learning disability, who will have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their program of study's final year courses and satisfied all requirements for graduation preceding presentation of this scholarship.
(* full-time defined as minimum 60% courseload in all final year semesters)

MARY ANN DARLING MEMORIAL ALUMNI AWARD
available to full-time, post-secondary diploma program students in their final semester of study who will have satisfied all requirements for graduation preceding presentation of the award (no "F" or "I" grades appearing in any term)while attending Fanshawe College, student must have demonstrated in-house volunteer work that indicates a caring attitude towards people , image of the College and/or community volunteer work above and beyond the program of study requirements

FANSHAWE COLLEGE DISTINGUISHED STUDENT AWARD
students in their final semester who have maintained at least a minimum GPA of 3.0 while attending Fanshawe College (no “I” or “F” grades appearing in any term) and who will have satisfied all requirements for graduation preceding presentation of the award student must have made a significant contribution to college life or to the community a real commitment to others, for example through volunteer work, and substantial academic success should be evident in the nominee's achievements.
(includes post-diploma program students)

R.C. HAMILTON AWARD
students in their final semester who have achieved a minimum academic achievement of passing grades in all courses (no "I" or "F" grades in any term) student must have made a significant contribution to college life or to the community with a resulting enhancement of the college and who have demonstrated leadership qualities (includes adult training, apprentice, post-secondary and post-diploma program students)

JIM MATCHETT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
available to a returning, full-time post-secondary student who has maintained high academic achievement in their program of study and made a noteworthy contribution to the athletics program at Fanshawe College.

"Returning student" is defined as an individual who has completed the first year of their current program of study and is now in their second or third year or is currently attending a Fanshawe College post-diploma program. Students who have had a break of time within their study periods at Fanshawe College are eligible for this scholarship.

PRESIDENT'S PRIZE
available to full-time post-secondary diploma program students in their graduating year who will have satisfied all requirements for graduation preceding presentation of the award student must have achieved a significant academic standard while either making a significant contribution to campus life or, in the process, having overcome other obstacles

HARRY RAWSON AWARD
available to full-time post-secondary diploma program students in their graduating year who has maintained at least a minimum GPA of 3.0 while attending Fanshawe College student must have demonstrated special appreciation of, and uncommon ability in, communication/interpersonal skills within college community plus voluntary participation in the community at large

STUDENT ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL RECOGNITION AWARD
student who has completed a minimum one year of his/her post-secondary diploma program with a minimum passing average in four credit courses per semester (no "F" or "I" grades) student must have demonstrated involvement in Student Union/Student life activities

Students who complete their graduating program in summer or fall semester should apply prior to leaving the college.

The nomination year is for graduates who have or will have completed all the requirements for graduation (including co-op's/placements) between May 1, 2005 and April 30 2006.

Students can apply for a maximum of three awards, however, will not receive more than one award.
