Yes Fanshawe, welcome back! It's a new year and a fresh start, which typically means confusion and chaos. But with overcrowded halls and extremely long lines comes along new opportunities and new possibilities. Make the most of it!

Some students just want to get out the door so badly and get a job that they totally miss out on the whole college experience. Getting a well paying job in your field of study after graduation should definitely be the goal, but what you do in the meantime will be the blueprint for any future success. And hey, work will always be there waiting for you. Unless you're lucky enough to pick Friday's winning numbers or hit it big at the slots, you're probably going to be working for the next 30 to 40 years.

During my time at Fanshawe I was fortunate enough to meet some of my best friends, create a bond with some really chill professors, be a part of an extremely successful varsity basketball program, and get involved with the Fanshawe Student Union which has opened more doors than I could have possibly imagined.

My advice to you the students is to get involved on campus and around your community. Whether you're at the finish line or the starting line don't be afraid to branch out and meet new people (and potentially some future contacts), create your own path and just have the time of your life! If not now then when?

If you ever have any questions or concerns about anything campus life related or otherwise, you can always find me or any of your VPs in SC2001 right above Oasis. Keep it classy.
