Letter of the Week: Bored at school? Join the club!
Dear editor;
Just wondering why Fanshawe has hardly any social clubs? If you look on WESTERN'S website, they have a wide variety of clubs for their students to join. How are students expected to meet people outside of their program at this college? How are people supposed to enjoy London, if they are away from home, if they are surrounded by the same people from their course day in and day out? Its truly frustrating that the STUDENT union (who is supposed to be working for us, THE STUDENTS) only cares about events that involve substance abuse... yes I went there - the Out Back Shack, where the students spend their OSAP money. Try introducing more social activities, that are fun, and don't involve substance abuse...
