The winner of the 2008 fall term Win a Laptop contest is Melissa Wilkins! Melissa is a second year Social Service Worker student here at Fanshawe and was elated when she heard the news.

The Win a Laptop contest started in the 2008 winter term by the Office of the Registrar. The goal was to encourage students to pay their fees in full by a method other than credit card — including cash, cheque, Interac, telephone banking or online banking. Those who paid using these alternate methods were automatically entered into the contest.

“We were so pleased to offer the Win a Laptop contest again this year and present yet another deserving student with a laptop worth approximately $2,000,” said Associate Registrar, Systems and Fees, Susan Dobson.

“Congratulations again Melissa!”
