Your vote makes a difference

Well we are back from the break and I hope it wasn't all sunburns and drunken crazy nights (well not the sunburns cause they suck). So we are back and what is going on? Well let me tell you!

We have our annual ELECTIONS!!! Every year we have these elections and for those who have been around a couple years will know what I am talking about. For those who are in their first year will learn very quickly what's going on.

Now these aren't your typical high school elections. These elections actually mean something because the people you VOTE in can make a difference in your college career.

Some people say I am not voting because I won't be here next year. Well, I say you obviously aren't very aware. Just because you aren't here doesn't mean your vote won't matter and make a difference. You can change the life of a young friend, a new kid coming to the school and maybe even your own children that could attend here in years to come.

YOUR VOTE MATTERS!!!

Now, if you are new to the campus I bet you have problems with things in your program or with the college in general, well if you do VOTE!! The people you VOTE for and talk to can help elevate and actually fix those problems you might have. If you don't have anything wrong with things around here, well, guess what? There might be something you want to see here at the school, and if so, you can tell the person you VOTE for what you want!

Every year I hear people complain about what's going on in the college and in the Student Union, yet these people didn't VOTE. Well if you don't VOTE you don't have a voice and complaining is your fault not anyone else's!

Get to know the candidates that are running because they are the future of change. You can give those ideas of how to fix things around Campus to them so they can do it. These people will be out canvassing the halls with their campaigns from March 11 to March 19 so there is lots of time to get to know these people and hear what they have to say.

I don't want to hear people bitching next year saying things suck when they never VOTED the year before.

IF YOU DON'T VOTE DON'T BITCH!!!

El Presidente out!
