Leather, chains make it biker chic

My muse for this article was Olivia Newton John, as the made over version of Sandy from Grease. She had the sexy biker look down to a tee, with her black leather cat suit accented with a waist cinching belt, cropped leather jacket and to finish the look off, a pair of red sky scraper high heels.
An empowering accessory that was seen on the catwalks of Chloe, Phillip Lim, Gucci and Givenchy was the chain-link necklace. The gothic chin necklaces, as seen on the Givenchy runway, were gold multilayered from two strands up to six, adorned with charms and pendants. Against the tough girl leather leggings and biker chick leather jackets this accessory was dynamite! But for a more realistic price, I found a similar tall boot designed by Laura Poretzky for Payless Shoes ($55). These marvellously slouchy boots feature faux suede with edgy upper studding detail.
For an of the moment look, rock these boots with a cropped leather jacket and a pair of skinnies. For real rock ‘n roll style, squeeze yourself into a pair of leather leggings. I like American Apparel's matte lame black leggings ($49). These bottoms feature a high waist which provides extra comfort.
