A three-vehicle collision disrupted traffic outside Fanshawe's main entrance on Oct. 3.

Around 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 3, a three-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Oxford St. and First St., just outside of Fanshawe’s Oxford St. campus main entrance. The most affected vehicle was driven by a Fanshawe student. No one was injured.

Fernando Garcia Toledo, the driver of one of the vehicles involved, said a poor maneuver from the driver of a white Chevrolet caused the crash.

'The vehicle of the girl whose car is wrecked was good because the traffic light was green for her, but the Chevrolet turned to First St., and then the student hit,” Garcia Toledo said.

Fanshawe student Drake Seguin was also a witness to the collision.

“From what I gathered, the white car, which wasn't completely totalled, tried to turn when it didn't have the right of way. From what I understand, Garcia Toledo and the student both tried to stop,” Seguin said.

Traffic was disrupted for about an hour while emergency crews cleared the scene.
