Holiday Karma Pays it Forward
‘Tis the season for laughter, love and sharing. This year, give the gift that keeps on giving, and pay it forward to someone who deserves it. Do a good deed, help someone you may not know, and that will be the best gift you can give anyone and yourself this holiday season.
For the first time ever, the Moksha Yoga London is gathering proceeds from their weekly Karma classes, with their clothing lines Tonic and Karma matching every dollar, in hopes that local companies will do the same. The aim is to create a ripple effect to help those who are less fortunate in a number of different ways.
$1000 will be distributed from Moksha Yoga to 10 people who regularly attend the Karma classes offered at their studio (the class is a reduced price $5 class offered every Friday at 8.30pm). Those 10 people can choose whatever organization, charity or person(s) to touch with their gift of generosity. The gift can be an experience, a present, a toy or a wish. With the passion and creativity of these 10 teams, armed with encouragement and support of Moksha Yoga, and hopefully many other businesses, this can spread like wildfire to make life better for many different people. Businesses like Tim Hortons have already expressed interest in sponsoring a team.

In the time when there is such a disparate gap between those with, and those without, it is an especially great time to give. Join a team, donate funds, recommend a donor recipient or begin your own pay-it-forward campaign. Lead by example, and show others how rewarding it is, and life changing it can be to Pay It Forward!
