First meeting's cookie:
Double Delight Mint Oreo

- LM and SN arrive at Alumni Lounge for meeting.
- NN arrives early. Shows incredible enthusiasm for Business and the club and is spontaneously made Vice-President before leaving for work.
- Logo is reconsidered. LM says that millionaire with money-fan may not be the way to go.
- SN raises the point that the money-fan introduces an association with Fanshawe, and is therefore delightful.
- This point is brushed aside, as logo was quickly thrown together for purposes of speedy club formation, merging internet-garnered images—we would rather something unique.
- MN impresses all by inciting the group to set the ethical and professional standard high for Business Fanshawe, especially as this is its first run.
- LR is made Treasurer, citing a passion of hunting for financial loopholes, and creative sculpting of opportunity for financial gain as his reasons for pursuing his Accounting studies here at Fanshawe College.
- It soon becomes apparent that MN deserves a title which represents his enthusiasm and wide expanse of business knowledge. But what shall it be?
- LM scoops in like a hungry owl and takes the title of Secretary in her beak.
- Guest speakers are thought of to investigate for bringing in. LM suggests the proprietors of Zubicks Scrap Metals, as she is welding there on Mondays; MN suggests prestigious London Club Members to which he has connections.
- PH arrives and is handed literature to keep regarding small business start-up information.
- Possible directions for club are discussed; as well as guest speakers; possible business ideas; the potential size of the club.
- Covert operations are discussed. Business club of University of Western Ontario to be infiltrated and examined for technique.
- Junior Achievement, Small Business Centre, Business Faculty to be approached, looked into for inspiration, or to serve as helpful resources.
- With curt nods distributed amongst our gaggle acknowledging completion of our social transaction, we say our goodbyes and head toward our individual horizons; the skyline never looking so hopeful.
